International Medical Delegations

Mission Statement

Medics International provides global opportunities for you to provide medical services to countless individuals in need. Medics International's medical missions include international delegations based on specific specialties (to provide medical services & training) as well as annual medical missions to serve large communities. Over the years, Medics International’s international medical delegations have provided trainings and direct medical services to patients in need in India, Iraq, and Tanzania.

Medics International's main annual medical missions are the Medics International Hajj Medical Mission and the Medics International Annual Arbaeen Medical Mission.

Medics International's Hajj Medical Mission

Mission Statement

In 2003, Medics International doctors recognized the growing medical needs of the more than three million Muslims performing Hajj annually and decided to take on the responsibility of providing complete medical facilities to care for the more than 750,000 among them that seeks medical attention. This effort has gradually converted into a complete medical mission, serving more than 20,000 pilgrims each year. Medics International HMM activities, managed through Medics International Pakistan, are divided into pre-Hajj Activities and Post and During Hajj Activities.

Medics International's Annual Arbaeen Medical Mission

Mission Statement

Since 2010, Medics International has been coordinating medical missions to Iraq for Arbaeen, one of the largest peaceful gatherings in the world with more than 20 million officially in attendance.

During our 8th Annual Arbaeen Medical Mission, 104 professionals treated 148,500 patients through 24-hour medical services at 2 major locations in Karbala (over 7-9 days) and a daily clinic in Najaf. The expansion of care over the years includes new equipment annually for the medical camps including most recently EKG/ECG machines, portable ultrasounds and defibrillators.

Medics International’s 9th Annual Medical Mission will be in Iraq October 31- November 19, 2017. Applications are currently open for medical staff, dental staff, pharmacy staff and admin (includes non-health professionals).

International Medical Delegations to Iraq

Mission Statement

Since 2009, Medics International has been coordinating international medical delegations to Iraq. Medics International is working with local partners to develop quarterly, specialty based delegations of licensed physicians and health professionals who will provide free, charity care through public hospitals, clinics and university/teaching hospitals. Medics International’s Gastroenterology Team, headed by Dr. Syed Saeed P. Bokhari and Medics International’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program, headed by Dr. Huma Naqvi, are annual features with much work done of successive years to build each division within the Iraqi healthcare systems.
